The Cat S62 Pro represents the third iteration of the Cat 60 series and prominently highlights the newest advancements in Thermal by FLIR® technology. Equipped with the FLIR Lepton 3.5 sensor and the innovative MyFLIR™ PRO app, the Cat S62 Pro boasts a significant four-fold increase in thermal pixels and an unparalleled feature set within the application.

For the very first time, users, both professionals and consumers, have access to FLIR Systems’ VividIR™ image processing, improved MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging), and visible-to-thermal blending technologies seamlessly integrated into their smartphone. Users are empowered to adjust MSX intensity, a feature that overlays visual outline details onto thermal images from the scene, or utilize the new alpha blending capability to merge thermal specifics with visuals from the Sony dual-pixel camera. These enhancements collectively result in significantly improved image quality, sharper visuals, and enhanced thermal resolution, thereby offering deeper context and comprehension of the thermal imagery displayed.

The updated software incorporates analytical and reporting functionalities typically seen in premium standalone thermal imaging products. Among these features are isotherm and isotherm alarming capabilities, minimum and maximum temperature flag indicators, and integrated report generation tools found within the MyFLIR PRO application on the Cat S62 Pro.

With isotherm alarming, users can track a customized temperature range (ranging from -20°C to +400°C) and set up alarms for temperature triggers within that range – an incredibly beneficial tool for monitoring machinery temperatures, detecting anomalies in temperature levels, or even ensuring that your BBQ has reached an optimal temperature.
